This corporate hangar facility was constructed at the McCollum Field Airport in Cobb County – which is now one of the busiest airports in the state of Georgia. The 11,990 square-foot hangar is connected to an existing structure by a two-story, 5,000 square-foot office space. In order to meet the critical construction deadline, the building was completed in less than eight weeks from the ground-up, including site preparation. In addition to an already pressed schedule, Optum had to overcome the obstacle of removing 900 truck loads of bad soil and bringing in 1300 truck loads of fill dirt to correct poor soil conditions on the site.
